TWO INSTALLATION OPTIONS IN ONE TUBE — TYPE A PLUG & PLAY OR TYPE B BALLAST BYPASS (DIRECT WIRE): This versatile U-Bend LED tube works two ways — use it as a Type A direct replacement with a compatible electronic T8 ballast (no rewiring needed), or bypass the ballast entirely with Type B direct wire installation for T8 or T12 fixtures. One product covers both scenarios, making it the ideal solution for facilities upgrading mixed or aging fluorescent infrastructure. Always verify ballast compatibility at FEIT website before purchase and installation.
DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR FB32T8 U-BEND FLUORESCENT LAMPS — (TYPE A): Designed as a drop-in replacement for 32W FB32T8 U-shaped fluorescent tubes. The Type A installation requires no rewiring — simply switch off power, remove the old fluorescent U-bend, insert the Feit LED U-bend into the existing lampholder, and restore power. Compatible with existing electronic ballasts for the fastest, easiest upgrade path.
BALLAST BYPASS (TYPE B) FOR T8 & T12 FIXTURES — ELIMINATE BALLAST FAILURE CONCERNS: When installed as Type B (direct wire), this LED U-bend bypasses the ballast entirely and connects directly to line voltage (120-277V).
